Bob Wigley

Independent Non-Executive Director

Bob Wigley joined the Board of Altitude Group plc as an Independent Non-Executive Director in March 2026.

Bob brings extensive experience across financial services, digital markets and financial infrastructure. He is the founding Chairman of UK Finance, the trade body representing more than 300 banking and finance firms in the United Kingdom. Earlier in his career he served as EMEA Chairman of Merrill Lynch and was a member of the Court of the Bank of England.

Bob has significant board-level experience in financial market infrastructure and fintech innovation, including roles with organisations such as Euroclear and LCH.Clearnet. He has also contributed to industry thought leadership on emerging financial technologies, including leading the UK Finance report on securities tokenisation.

Alongside his commercial career, Bob has strong links to academia and professional institutions. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, an Honorary Professor at King’s College London, a Visiting Fellow at Saïd Business School, and an Honorary Fellow of Cambridge Judge Business School.

He is also the author of Born Digital: The Story of a Distracted Generation (2021), which explores the societal and behavioural impact of digital technology.

Bob’s experience across digital commerce, financial infrastructure and governance supports Altitude’s strategy to develop the AIM Smarter platform and strengthen the value delivered to its global community of promotional products distributors and suppliers.
